In strict alignment with the ethos of the French Law of July 1, 1901, volunteer commitment (le bénévolat associatif) is the foundation of everything ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE accomplishes. All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.

  • Rural Outreach & Mobile Desk Volunteers: Accompany our mobile advisory van across outlying hamlets in Côtes-d'Armor, assisting isolated households with administrative navigation and public service filings.
  • Youth Mentors & Apprenticeship Guides: Pair with adolescents and young adults to offer scholastic coaching, resume preparation, interview practice, and positive adult encouragement.
  • Intergenerational Heritage Coordinators: Organize oral history recording sessions, heritage repair workshops, community gardening mornings, and seasonal exhibitions.

  • Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Full civil liability and accidental damage insurance coverage provided during all association-sanctioned activities and transit.
  • Pedagogical Training & Mentorship: Access to complimentary orientation workshops on active listening, child safeguarding, and non-profit data privacy compliance.
  • Reimbursement of Operational Expenses: Direct reimbursement of authorized travel and logistical costs incurred on behalf of the association, upon receipt submission.

The Volunteer Integration Journey

To ensure that every new volunteer feels confident and supported from their first day, ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE follows a structured three-step welcoming process:

1. Welcoming Dialogue: An informal conversation with our Volunteer Director at our Saint-Igneuc secretariat to explore your passions, background, and practical scheduling preferences.

2. Shadowing and Mentorship: You are paired with a seasoned volunteer for your first two community sessions, observing group dynamics and asking questions in a low-pressure setting.

3. Independent Action & Continuing Support: Once comfortable, you step into your chosen civic role with the full backing of our Bureau, attending quarterly volunteer debriefings where we share feedback and celebrate community milestones.

Annual Civic Recognition & Community Celebration

Each year in December, ASS CATHO CHEFS DE FAMILLE convenes our Annual Volunteer Appreciation Assembly. This festive, non-commercial gathering honors the dedication of all voluntary contributors who gave their time to support rural households. Volunteers receive certified certificates of civic service, share a festive communal meal prepared by local families, and reflect on the positive social impacts achieved across the Jugon-les-Lacs territory throughout the past twelve months.
